The scenic views surrounding the place are absolutely stunning, making it a perfect getaway for anyone who craves tranquility. The vegan breakfast menu is exceptional, with homemade granola and fluffy pancakes that really hit the spot.
The bathroom layout could use some rethinking. it felt pretty tight when I was trying to brush my teeth without bumping into anything. the noise from neighboring rooms can be intrusive. at one point it sounded like I was eavesdropping on the entire conversation next door, but a good pair of earplugs does the trick. Lastly, if you're counting on dining options nearby, be prepared to drive for alternatives, as the immediate area is pretty sparse in that department.

The perfect escape in nature
Staying at Goats and Oats felt like stepping into a warm embrace. From day one, Graham and Linda's incredible hospitality shone through. They greeted us with fresh rock cakes upon arrival, which was a delightful touch that made us feel right at home. Our room, the Deluxe Double, was spacious, impeccably clean, and featured thoughtful amenities. Every breakfast was a feast. I still savor the taste of Linda’s signature pancakes and homemade jam. With local landmarks just a short trek away, we loved exploring the scenic trails directly from the B&B.
While our stay was nearly flawless, I did find the bathroom a bit cramped when trying to freshen up. It’s a minor issue, especially considering the multitude of positives surrounding our experience, but nonetheless noteworthy for anyone who values spacious facilities while preparing for the day.
